Slow Netsuite Performance Depending on Role?

I have not seen this before.  I have several users complaining about the time it is taking to load search result pages and add items to sales orders.  It started happening yesterday.  In some roles the page loads as expected, in other roles it's excruciatingly slow.  Any thoughts about what could be causing this or how to troubleshoot?
