Creating a sub-menu, based off a menu

I'm trying to get a sub-menu to auto-populate based off which menu is selected in Support Cases.

Eg: First menu:
Hardware
Software
Other

Sub Menu for Hardware:
Cable
Camera
Mast

Sub Menu for Software:
Uploading
Reporting

Any ideas?
