Reminder: Web Services and RESTlet Concurrency Governance to Be Enforced in 2018.2

Reminder: Web Services and RESTlet Concurrency Governance to Be Enforced

The 2018.2 release will change the way concurrency is tracked and enforced for web services and RESTlets in your production and sandbox accounts. This change will enhance our ability to provide more reliable service, stable performance, and easier development.

Concurrency for web services and RESTlets is currently governed separately per user and authentication method. When the upcoming change takes effect, the new account governance limit will apply to the combined total of web services and RESTlet requests. With this change, you will not need to use a concurrent web services user to send additional concurrent requests in web services with token-based authentication.
