sourcing data into custom field only works if store value is disabled / Bug?!

Dear support team,

I created several custom fields on ITF and need to source data for example from customer record.

This is only working, if I disable "store value".

We need to store the value to have the chance to edit the data in this field for example to edit delivery times for a shipment.

It seems that this is a bug and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
