What would be the key criteria for moving to multi-book accounting ?
Does the fact of having 2 subsidiaries in 2 different countries/currencies justify the move to full multi-book accounting? If not, what are the reasons / use cases for moving to full multi-book?
Accounting contexts seem to be a way to "translate" accounting in different reporting standards, but what are the limitations and when should it be avoided?
I would be interested in having a table summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of different accounting environments in dealing with multi-country and/or multi-currency subsidiaries (standard, accounting contexts, adjustment only books, full multi-book). In terms of consolidating, reporting on different standards, translating accounts, etc.
Thank you very much!
