rest web service documentation

REST web service is currently in beta, and is something we want to leverage for our integration.

we are finding that some standard fields like on Sale Order (line item and commit) columns, are not being returned.

Is this really the case? I am not seeing it from the The REST API Browser, and just wanted someone from NetSuite to confirm that this is the case, or is just that the documentation is not updated?
