Looking for best practices on annotating Searches / Reports as SOX related

Hi All!

I'm looking for how others have effectively annotated the saved searches and financial reports that are used in key SOX/SOC controls.    Our public company relies on a subset of searches and reports as part of Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly controls.  As such we would like to mark them or note them somehow such that we can quickly look at the subset.   Potentially being able to run against system notes to ensure no changes had been made that weren't documented/approved!
