Sourcing Custom Record fields as Transaction Line field
I have a Custom Record called Supported System with two fields of legacy system data
Name Purchase Date
123 1/1/2010
234 5/5/2007
When entering a Sales Order transaction I want to add the Name to the transaction line. and Also source in the Purchase Date.
I've done this before but something has changed as I cannot see the Custom Record available as a Source List when I Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields or Transaction Line Fields > New
There is a SuiteAnswer 19397: Make Custom Record Types Appear as Available Source Lists When Creating Custom Transaction Fields. Doesn't make sense to me as there is no option to "Record is Parent: is checked" following the method in Step 2.
