Cannot Set Transaction Column Field as Inline

Hi,

We have a custom Expense Report form and on the Screen Fields, under Expenses we have set the Display Type for Exchange Rate to Inline. However, when I go to enter an expense report using this form, I can still freely edit the exchange rate. Is there another approach, besides scripting, to making the Exchange Rate field inline so that users cannot change the value?
