How would I create a report that shows lost sales due to stockouts?

Hello,  I am trying to find or create a report that will show me the lost sales due to being out of stock.  Our reorder point and preferred stock are based on our sales history, but we run out and never increase our demand accordingly.  Any help would be hugely appreciated.  Thank you,
