Charge Projection historical information

We are running forecast reports based on Charge Projection Report data. The challenge we have is we cannot keep track of the historical information. For example, if we run Charges for July, the July data will change in August due to timesheet entries.  

When we run actuals based on the timesheets, we wanted to see a comparison against previously forecasted. Just wanted to know from the community whether anyone is experiencing the same challenge and what type of solution you have implemented to overcome this situation.
