How to connect two Datasets in a Workbook
With version 2021.2 SuiteAnalytics brought an option of using fields from two dataset in one Workbook table, pivot table or a chart. Because the connection (linking, joining..) needs to be defined via SuiteScript to appear in Workbook UI, I thought an example can be handy for your experiments.
Before you start coding, make sure to do the following:
- Enable the Client SuiteScript and Server SuiteScript features at Setup > Company > Enable Features > SuiteCloud.
- Register SuiteScript plug-ins for SuiteAnalytics to display defined datasets and workbooks in the UI. For more information, see:
