What is the process of intelligent matching in Expense Reports with multiple lines?

Question

if an employee submits a corporate credit card expense report that is ten lines long, it will only reflect ONE amount in the corporate credit card GL but the bank matching process will have those TEN Lines.

Is the bank matching smart enough to match these transactions?
