How to solve Shortcut with No Editable Fields?

Hello,


I tried to set up shortcuts in the Employee Center. Basically clicked setup page and then clicked add content and picked shortcuts from list to add to employee center dashboard.


What I ended up with is a single bar with Shortcuts on it that will not open up to add/edit and when I go back into standard content I can not remove it from the dashboard.  Any clues on how to fix this?
