System cost changes in WO completions/close

Hi there,

I have a situation where I backdated the completion and close WO transactions. Both transactions were not edited, but the system keeps updating the cost for days after the initial date where the transactions were saved. what is causing this and how to avoid it?

The items has average as costing method.
