New To NetSuite | Workflow: Send Email Notification
Sending email notifications via workflows in NetSuite involves automating email alerts based on specific conditions and events within the system. By leveraging workflows, NetSuite can automatically manage and send email notifications, improving efficiency and communication for users.
In this scenario, an email is sent out to a specific user when a purchase order is created.
Create the workflow
Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New
Basic Information section:
Name: <Set your Workflow name here>
Record Type: Transaction
Sub Types: <Select any transaction type>
Execute as Admin: Ticked
Release Status: Released
Keep Instance and History: Select Always
Enable Logging: Ticked
On Create:
