New To NetSuite | Workflow: Lock Record
We have multiple functions for workflows, such as setting field values, adding, and removing buttons, showing popup messages, etc. One of those functionalities was introduced under New To NetSuite | Workflow: Create a Created By: field for Transactions.
In this topic, we will discuss how to hide the 'Edit' button or lock the record via Workflow using a specific condition. This is commonly utilized by companies that wish to hide the 'Edit' button once a transaction has reached a specific state or if they want to restrict access to the button for specific users.
Create the Workflow:
1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New
