NetSuite WMS Bin Sequencing: Sequence Number vs WMS Pick Seq No

I’m looking for clarification on the difference between the Bin Sequence Number and WMS Pick Seq No fields in NetSuite.

Specifically, I’d like to understand:

  • The functional purpose of each field
  • Which one takes precedence during WMS wave generation and picking
  • How bins are sorted when one of the fields is blank
  • What the fallback behavior is when both fields are blank

Any insight into best practices for using these fields together in a WMS environment would be greatly appreciated.
