Emrah Mete demonstrates an outstanding commitment to building the expertise of the Turkish Oracle community. He is one of the core founding members of TROUG (Turkish Oracle User Group) and plays an active role in TROUG's non-profit organization. He has held the position of Database Development SIG Chairman for 2 periods, while also maintain a high level of activity as speaker or organizer local Oracle-related events. Emrah is well known within the Oracle Community and his contributions are followed by virtually the entire Oracle Community in Turkey.
Sayan is just finishing up his first decade focusing on Oracle Database application development, but in that time he has learned a lot and worked hard to share what he has learned with the broader community. An Oracle ACE Associate (2015), Oracle Certified performance tuning expert, and two-time PL/SQL Challenge Championship Playoff participant, Sayan specializes in Oracle Database performance. He is has deep knowledge of the Cost Based Optimizer, SQL, PL/SQL and Java.
Sean D. Stuber is a DBA at American Electric Power. He has been a developer for over twenty years, working with Oracle for most of that time. His main responsibilities are coding, tuning, and mentoring developers in how to best utilize their Oracle databases. Some of his articles have been published in the ODTUG Technical Journal, IOUG Tips & Best Practices Booklet, and on Experts-Exchange where Sean is a regular contributor (over 7,300 questions answered!) and topic advisor for Oracle topics. When not engrossed in Oracle, Sean enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and building things with his family. Sean is a regular player of the SQL quiz on the PL/SQL Challenge (ranked 95th worldwide).
