This month’s incremental update delivers improved connectivity to a number of data sources, enhancements for language and region-related functionality, plus numerous stability fixes and enhancements.

Improvements have been made to the following:

  • Connectivity has been incrementally improved for Spark, Oracle Applications, Salesforce, Greenplum, Hive, Oracle Database, RightNow, SQL Server, and Teradata.
  • Better support has been added for multi-byte characters found in source data as well as enhancements and fixes for regional formatting of data.
  • Minor incremental improvements have been made to the behavior of visualizations including trendline and radar bar chart.
  • Stability improvements have been made for importing projects, process management and startup.

 

The next feature update in two months time will bring many new and exciting functional enhancements.  Watch this space.

The end of May brings the first update to Oracle Data Visualization Desktop. You can download the latest update here.

 

This update is mainly minor bug fixes with a focus on national language support (NLS).
