A lot of new users obviously struggle to find the right forum to post on, judging by the number of product questions that wind up on the general / idea spaces. Answers liked by those on the leaderboard and Guru level+ users should be featured on an answer as 'expert endorsed' - not carrying any points, though I guess a mission badge might be appropriate for 10+ 'expert endorsements', but just to acknowledge the extra validation a reply has been given by the higher level members of the board.
Have a board that has similar functionality to L*nked*n - other social business portals exist - where users can post their current activities or projects, linked to other members where applicable. With appropriate advertisement the board could become a fishing ground for recruiters etc to find staff with appropriate skills / experience.
