60% of IT leaders in Australia and New Zealand expect their cloud computing spending to increase in 2016, hybrid cloud projects a priority

38% who said the software budget would increase, 35% who expect bigger IT staffing budgets and 28% who expect to have more money for hardware

When it comes to planned cloud investments, the most common project being planned around cloud computing was the implementation of a hybrid cloud infrastructure (46%).

As storage requirements are growing by leaps and bounds,  more organizations are turning to the cloud to manage the load according to the March 2016 survey by the Independent Oracle Users Group. www.ioug.org

While many use it for backup, data warehousing, development/test and archive,  data managers and IT professionals continue to push the boundaries of cloud as a viable option for a range of data storage requirements.
