Oracle Sales Cloud is part of this Customer Experience Cloud suite. Based on latest analysis, Gartner expects CRM market growth to increase slightly and to continue to grow at a moderate rate in 2015, following several years of strong investment. The outlook seems positive as buyers focus on technologies that enable more-targeted customer interactions in multichannel environments. In terms of regional outreach, North America is the largest CRM regional market. Regions such as Asia/Pacific region and Latin America will drive growth through 2018 through large global company

purchases and rapid establishment of new enterprises, changing consumer buying patterns, and increasing adoption among the small or midsize businesses.

 

Given this forecast and a well established place in the market, Oracle Fusion CRM is a product in continuous development. OPN is offering partners the opportunity to get Specialized at company level in Oracle Sales Cloud: Oracle Fusion CRM Cloud Service Solutions as well as in its on-premise deployment. How? By offering companies the opportunity to train their staff in different roles (Sales, Presales or Implementation) to ensure a critical mass of well-skilled individuals ready to support their customers' business needs.

All these updates are reflected in an update to the Competency Criteria for the following Specialization and Resell Programs starting June 1st:

What are the implications of such updates? The old criteria set is still available in parallel for the next 180 days (6 months), to give partners enough time to comply with the new requirements. This means that the old criteria set will be retired on January 1st 2016.

 

I would encourage partners to check the new requirements today and make sure they remain in compliance with the criteria.
