Statements are sent to customers to inform them of their account activities. For example, a statement can be printed for a customer to show their current open balance or a summary of their account. Statements can be printed or displayed online for review. Once statements are processed they can be reprinted or reset if necessary.

Statements are generated by running the Statement Notification Refresh (R03B500X) which uses data from the Customer Ledger (F03B11), the A/R Check Detail (F03B14) and the Invoice Revisions (F03B112) tables to print statements. Once this information is gathered, R03B500X uses this information to write records to the A/R Notification History (F03B20) and the A/R Notification History Detail (F03B21) tables. This then calls the A/R Statement Print Driver (R03B5005), which submits any print job or version for statements and calls the Statement Print Program. There are various standard Statement Print programs available, which are set up in user defined code (UDC) 03B/ST, and designated for use in the Statement Notification Refresh (R03B500X) processing options:

  • Statement Print (R03B5001)
  • Kagami Invoice Statement (R03B5001JP)
  • Italian Statement Print (R03B5002
  • Statement Print Credit Card (R03B5003)
  • Statement Print with Draft (R03B506)

More details on how this process works, common issues and troubleshooting tips could be found in:

  • How To Set Up and Generate Accounts Receivable Statements In JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Receivable (Doc ID 625781.1)
  • FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about A/R Statements (Doc ID 625842.1)

There are lot of JD Edwards clients running their production and shop floor activities 24 x 7.  When having such situations, especially when using standard costing (07) work orders, certain best practices need to be considered for avoiding unnecessary variances or other integrity issues on the financial side.

An important part of the issues discovered during WO closure or later on, during the G/L Posting (R09801) can be avoided by refraining from doing any cost rollup changes while production work orders are still open and most important the unaccounted units are not cleared.

A detailed explanation of each situation that can potentially trigger incorrect financial results is detailed under solution R30835 Running Manufacturing Costing and Accounting Programs While Running Shop Floor 24/7 (Doc ID 1374908.1).

Have you ever identified a batch that posted completely but not correctly?

Maybe, during your review of integrity reports you identified a batch where the AE entry was not created but the remainder of the entries in the batch are posted. Or, you may have identified a batch where the debits do not equal the credits but all the entries in the batch are posted.

After researching the batch, you identify the amounts and accounts that are missing entries.  Now what?

How do you create a journal entry, or multiple journal entries, to bring the batch back into balance? How do you create a one-sided journal entry and then successfully post the journal entry to update the Account Ledger (F0911) and the Account Balance (F0902) tables?

Our knowledge document How To Create and Post a One-Sided Journal Entry (Doc ID 2513031.1) walks you through successfully creating and posting a one-sided journal entry.

Cause : DomoIdentity.jks file is missing under below location

Solution : There are multiple solution for this issue , please refer the document for more information --> FMW/WLS New Configuration with Latest JDK Failing to Start - ConfigException: Identity key store file not found: DemoIdentity.jks (Doc ID 2357811.1)

Here we will follow the solution 2 (Re-generate DemoIdentity.jks, then start Web:Logic Server and Node Manager) to resolve our issue

Step 1 : Open the cmd prompt as administrator

Step 2 : Using cd command navigate to the location --> C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\wlserver\server\bin

Step 3 : Execute the setWLSEnv.cmd bat file

Step 4 : Now navigate to the directory C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain\security using cd command

Step 5 : run the command "java utils.CertGen -keyfilepass DemoIdentityPassPhrase -certfile democert -keyfile demokey -strength 2048 -noskid"

Step 6 : Now run the command "java utils.ImportPrivateKey -keystore DemoIdentity.jks -storepass DemoIdentityKeyStorePassPhrase -keyfile demokey.pem -keyfilepass DemoIdentityPassPhrase -certfile democert.pem -alias demoidentity"

Step 7 : verify whether Demoidentity.jks file is created

Step 8 : Now start the nodemanager and verify the nodemanager.log to verify whether nodemanager process started successfully or not
