Reader.pngThe U.S. government passed two major pieces of legislation in March 2020 to respond to the coronavirus pandemic: the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.  To accommodate new tax reporting requirements due to these Acts, the IRS has made significant changes to the Form 941 Employer Quarterly Tax Return.  These changes are due with the 2nd Quarter 2020 return.  The 2nd Quarter ends June 30, 2020 and the 941 return must be filed with the IRS by July 31, 2020.
