Critical functional and security fixes have been incorporated in the latest release. All customers that are not currently operating on 15B.2 or above are encouraged to request the latest release as soon as possible. 

 

Many exciting features have been incorporated in 15B which you can leverage.

 

Take Action

Request your upgrade to the latest release by creating a Service Request via My Oracle Support. If you are not operating on 15B.2 or higher by June 2017, your staging and production upgrades will be scheduled in July through September 2017. If you use Sourcing 15A, it will also be upgraded to the latest 15B release.

End of Life for Oracle Talent Acquisition (TEE) 15A is effective September 30, 2017. All customers that are currently operating on 15A must upgrade to 15B prior to this date when 15A will be decommissioned.

Many exciting features have been incorporated in 15B which you can leverage.

 

Take Action

If you have not already scheduled your upgrade, request your upgrade by creating a Service Request via My Oracle Support. If your upgrade is not scheduled prior, your staging and production upgrades will be scheduled in July through September 2017. This is to ensure that your upgrade is complete prior to the 15A End of Life date and to ensure service continuity.

When you conduct testing on 15B it is advisable to retest any open defects that you reported on 15A and prior. In many cases you will find that the defect has been resolved. If the issue is still reproducible, update the Service Request to inform Customer Support that the behavior still occurs in the current release, otherwise it is likely that the defect will be closed without being fixed.

The Oracle Taleo Learn Cloud Service maintenance release 16C.2 is set for February 17, 2017. This is a maintenance release that resolves issues reported by Learn customers.

 

Release Notes are only available for major releases and are posted on the Release Updates section of Customer Connect. Issues that are resolved by a maintenance release will have those issues added to the release notes of the previous major feature release. Customers who have issues resolved by the 16C.2 release are requested to retest and validate the resolution through their Service Requests in My Oracle Support.

 

The next update will be the major feature release 17A, currently scheduled for March. Customers can view the latest release schedule through the Knowledge Management document in My Oracle Support:
