The Oracle Taleo Learn Cloud Service feature release 17A is currently scheduled for March 24th. This is a major release and contains new features as well as resolving issues reported by Learn customers.

 

Details on the new features in this release can be found in the Knowledge Management document through My Oracle Support: "Oracle Learn Cloud Release 17A (Doc ID 2245297.1)"

 

Release Notes are available for major releases and are posted on the Release Updates section of Customer Connect. Issues that are resolved by a maintenance release will have those issues added to the release notes of the previous major feature release. Customers who have issues resolved by the 17A release are requested to retest and validate the resolution through their Service Requests in My Oracle Support.

The 16A.3 Learn release was successfully deployed on June 17, 2016. This included the items previously planned for the 16A.2 release, which was integrated into 16A.3.

Also, a minor patch was deployed on June 24th, designated 16A.3.1. This was a single-issue patch for the VILT feature with regards to Adobe Connect functionality.

 

The next scheduled release is 16B, a major release currently scheduled for general deployment on July 22nd.  This is a major feature release that includes new Widgets for Skills, Job Profiles and Search, as well as the Complete SCORM 1.2 Course Player, Supervisor Roles and the TBE/Learn User Sync.

 

You can follow the Learn release announcement when it is posted in Customer Connect (http://appsconnect.oracle.com) and opt to receive email updates whenever the Learn release announcement is updated. 16B is a major release that also contains corrections and changes to resolve issues reported by customers and engineers.

 

Release Notes are expected to be available 2 weeks prior to the release and will be posted on the Release Updates section of Customer Connect. Customers who have issues resolved by the 16B release will be requested to retest and validate the resolution through their Service Requests in My Oracle Support.
