Oracle Eloqua Apps Release: Version 2.10 - Saturday, May 30th, 2015

 

 

The Eloqua Apps 'Version 2.10' Release is on its way. Your Eloqua instance will be seeing the new enhancements on Saturday, May 30th, 2015.

 

The Version 2.10 rollout will run between 4 and 9 am EDT (UTC -4), on Saturday, May 30th.

 

Profiler and applications hosted at 'apps.p07.eloqua.com/' will not be configurable during the maintenance window.

The Version 2.10 rollout begins on Friday, May 29th, at 8 pm, and will conclude by 1 am on Saturday, May 30th. [All times EDT (UTC -4).]

 

Profiler and applications hosted at 'apps.secure.eloqua.com/'(Pod1), 'apps.www02.secure.eloqua.com/'(Pod2) and 'apps.p03.eloqua.com/'(Pod3) will not be configurable during the maintenance window.

With the recent roll out of the 471 release, an issue related to the Data Canvas was uncovered. More details are described below:

 

  • The issue allows clients to see a new feature (Data Canvas), underneath the settings tab. Development work on the Data Canvas is still in progress, and this feature is not ready for public use.

 

Our Development team is aggressively working on a hot-fix to address this issue; however we cannot provide an ETA. The next update will be at approximately 4:00 pm EDT (UTC -4).

Our Development team is currently investigating an incident that is impacting the LinkedIn Social Sign On Cloud Connector.  We do not currently have an ETA for resolution. The next update will be Tuesday, May 19th at approximately 4 PM EDT (UTC -4).

The Development team have identified the root cause being a result of a change in the LinkedIn API. They are aggressively targeting to get a hot-fix by today. The next update will be at approximately 10 PM EDT (UTC -4).

Our Development team have successfully applied the hot-fix. Here is a list of the change in functionality:

 

  • Due to LinkedIn API changes, the following fields are no longer available for mapping with the LinkedIn Social Sign on Cloud Component:
    • Number of Recommendations
    • Associations
    • Interests
    • Honors
    • Date of Birth
    • Main Address
    • Skills

 

  • Existing LinkedIn Social Sign On components that map those fields will be functional, however will not retrieve those fields upon sign on to LinkedIn.

Our Development Team is currently investigating an incident where some clients may experience intermittent SOAP API errors related to 403 on POD1.  We do not currently have an ETA for resolution. The next update will be Thursday May 14th at approximately 4 PM EDT (UTC -4).

Log into Eloqua as you normally would.

Look at the browser URL once you are logged in.

Pod2 URL has the following format - www02.secure.eloqua.com/... (note:  02 included in URL).

Our Cloud Operations Team is currently investigating an incident impacting the availability of the Eloqua Application for some POD 1 and POD 3 clients. The next update will be at approximately 6:00 am EDT (UTC -4).

Our Cloud Operations Team has confirmed that this issue is now resolved.

 

After analysis by our support teams, the root cause of the incident was not determined. At this time, production use of your Eloqua service has been restored. Oracle is reviewing the monitoring, alerting and standard operating procedures related to the incident. After these reviews are completed, additional appropriate corrective actions identified during the reviews will be taken.

Our Cloud Operations Team is currently investigating an incident where email deliverability on POD 3 is impacted. We do not currently have an ETA for resolution. The next update will be at approximately 8:00 am EDT (UTC -4).

Our Cloud Operations Team has confirmed that this issue is now resolved.

 

After analysis by our support teams, it was determined that the incident resulted from a configuration issue. The configuration issue has been resolved and production use of your Eloqua service has been restored. Oracle is also reviewing the monitoring, alerting and standard operating procedures related to the incident. After these reviews are completed, additional appropriate corrective actions identified during the reviews will be taken.
