Interface Deletion 18C

Anyone know anything about the interface deletion feature in 18C? We've been upgrading our sites to this release solely because of the ability to clean up interfaces that are no longer used. Being able to remove them hasn't been possible until now. I've logged into Configuration Assistant thinking it would be there but no luck. Unfortunately the only info I can find in the release notes, the release overview video, etc. is a blurb that says

Interface Deletion - Leverage Bulk Delete Framework
For the interface deletion process, we are leveraging the staggered deletion mechanism available in the bulk delete framework. This makes the interface deletion process faster and more efficient, with higher throughput and a lower failure rate.
