Defaulting the Context of Document Records DFF based on Document Type

Content

There have been numerous requests for this where customers want to create a custom employee self service form (similar to the EBS SIT) in order to enable self service request by employees and managers.

Document Records tends to meet most of the requirements for a custom self service form - additional attributes (flex fields), security based on document types, approvals based on document types etc.

One key usability requirement is to default the context of the Document Records DFF based on the Document Type so that only those flex segments which are relevant to that document type are displayed to the user.
