Converting from CWS to Mobile Career Center - impact on existing Job Alerts

We are in the process of converting our old CWS pages to the Career Center pages.  When doing this, our main Career page URL will change from the default CWS=1 to CWS=43.  What impact does this have on applicants who have created an existing Job Alert on the old CWS site?  Since no more jobs will get posted to this old CWS, will all of the old Job Alerts be lost?  Will candidates have to re-create their Job Alerts on the new Career Center page?
