How to set dynamic filters based on the dealer type agent is logged in on customer portal

Hi All,

We have a custom field dealer_type in Contact table and based on the dealer type tagged to the Contact we want to display some products on the customer portal in widget "okcs/OkcsProductCategorySearchFilter", We are able to retrieve the dealer_type the contact is logged in and display it but we are not able to pass the id of the dealer_type to the widget filter. 

We are quite not sure why the widget is not taking the values passed and displaying them.

Could any one of you guide us on how to achieve our requirement.
