Comment option for answers

Hi All,

We need to implement comment option below knowledge article. i.e. all the features which is OOTB for 'community self service' is to be implemented for knowledge articles instead of community questions. As per our understanding, it can be done through API calls. i.e. for every answer created or present, a question should be created and a comment option is to be made available in answer page that will directly store that comment below the corresponding question.

But, I am not able to understand the base to start development.

Old community had a widget 'AnswerComments', through which we can directly implement this requirement. But, unfortunately, that widget is deprecated as community self service is introduced.
