Display Average Wait Time on Chat_Launch page

Is there either a variable or easy implementation of the ChatQueueWaitTime widget where we can display a queue's AverageWaitTimeSeconds on the chat_launch page?

Is there a variable or easy way to pull a queue's average wait time to display it on the chat_launch page?  This is so users can decide if they want to enter a queue before putting in their information.

We know there exists the widget ChatQueueWaitTime, but it only seems to display a wait time when the user is already in a queue and waiting to be handled.  Seems like a hassle to have to extend this widget to only pull that number when not in a queue, but this 2013 forum post was the only thing I could find close to relevant here:
