Whitelisted IP Addresses
Hi, apologies of this is the wrong forum for this question.
We have config setting SEC_VALID_ADMIN_HOSTS enabled with IPs so agents have to be connected to our network either on site or via VPN.
My question is related to Oracle Support and their ability to "auto create" user accounts when troubleshooting issues. Does this process also add an IP exception to the whitelist automatically for whatever network the Oracle rep is using? I am doing an audit of our whitelist in SEC_VALID_ADMIN_HOSTS and noticed a significant amount of 160.34.XX.XX addresses (which I did not add). When I do an nslookup on them, they are XX.oracle-ocna.com domains.
