Summary

The purpose of this forum (Desktop and UI Extensibility) is unclear and could use more pinned Quick Start Guidance.

Content

Shiv's been doing some great work generating awesome content for extending web-based UIs with JavaScript.

This forum would benefit from more pinned content from Oracle.  For example:

  • PHP for custom processes (setting up a dev environment)
  • AddIn development for the .Net desktop client
  • Creating and working with custom objects

Also this forum seems name-challenged.  For most people, Desktop and UI are too similar to be in a list of different things.  I think you actually mean extensibility for the .Net and browser-based desktop clients.
