Unable to open up the port for Public

Hello All,

I am following an article from A-team of the oracle to deploy a sample test API to a gateway node (OCI-classic). Though, i could deploy the API and invoke the API from the OCI-classic instance itself, i could not invoke the same from the public internet. I believe this is some configuration that i am missing in the network. Could you please help me to know the steps to expose a port from the Compute classic, as the given link is outdated. I am not using the Load balance for now. So, exposed the only one node's public address as load balancer url.
