Workspace layout not consistent in BUI vs .Net

I am hoping to get some assistance here, we are trying to launch the BUI for our email team and are also launching a new workspace.  When I preview the workspace in the .net console, my summary has 3 columns that include panels.  Then when I view it in the BUI under the same profile it only shows 2 columns?  I would attache screen shots, but it doesn't appear that I can do that here?  Would anyone know why it would not be consistent between the two?  I am using the same profile, workspace and handling the incident the same way?
