How to make Account-->Profile Page Editable after implementation of PTA

Dear Folks,

Our issue is we enable PTA in our Customer portal and whenever we login via PTA the Account --> Profile page becomes read only mode. We want this one as editable. Kindly help on this.

Note :

Whenever we login without PTA, Account --> Profile page is with editable feature.

We are using standard widget for implementation of profile page.

I referred the PTA documentation and it specifies one attribute to be add in the standard widgets i.e., "allow_external_login_updates="true" "

Even though I add that attribute  that page is still  in read only mode.
