Using OTBI to find a Sales Order for a Requisition

Summary

How to find the associated Sales Order for a Requisition using OTBI

Content

Customers / Support

I am publishing this article that my colleague has crafted based on several requests we have seen in the forum.

Context:

Many customers using sales order based flows to process requisitions and purchase orders (for instance, Drop Ship or Back to Back flows) ask for a way to track the sales order corresponding to a requisition (line). Now, as you all know, a requisition is created through these flows as 'Externally Managed', i..e there is no user interface to review the transaction details. Unless you consider the Process Requisitions flow where you do get a glance of the details of the requisition that was processed.

Howdy, Stranger!
