Font size in custom workspace

3 font size issues in a custom workspace - I am on 18A SP5 and Windows 10, IE 11

3 issues with fonts on a custom workspace.  There seem to be lots of questions about this posted already but most of them are for earlier versions and not exactly this issue.

1) When I try to set the default font in a custom workspace to Ariel 12, the highest number that appears in the drop down is 9.  Why won't it let me choose something higher than 9?  It lets me choose the blank space where the #12 should be but that does not seem to change anything.
