Duplicate contacts when using Data Import Guide

Contacts are registrered as duplicated even though e-mail exists in different interface



We have one Service Cloud client, but three interfaces, in that one client. We operate three different brands, which is the reason to this setup.

We use the Data Import Guide to import contacts for general informational e-mails for certain groups of customers. Like if there is a generel billing issue, we like to warn customers. We use the outreach functionality for the e-mail and the Data Import Guide to import the list of contacts.

But, some e-mail addresses might be present in more than one interface/brand, since customers switch supplier. When importing a list with e-mail addresses, all e-mailadresses present in more than one brand, will be listed as duplicate.
