Just wondering if anyone is using VAS, how they have it configured, best practices, etc. Also would be great if anyone had detailed documentation other than the WMS_-_VAS_Activities PDF I found using Google (see attachment).

Basically, we want to use it to distinguish parts which need to be repackaged during receiving from parts that do not. Currently when we open a new facility, initially we are setting the part's preferred area to what we call RCVTOPACK and sorting it there. Once we complete the repackaging, we slot the part to a location and change the preferred area to the area the location is in. When we do this, we lose the ability to differentiate these parts from the rest, as during directed putaway employees are directed to take the part to it's final location so without a notification
