This is a new feature introduced in 19D and I thought a quick primer is in order.

Business Case:

Projects-based organizations often find it necessary to route requisitions for approval to a Task Manager that is assigned to a project. In 19D, we have provided this capability. 

Salient Aspects of the feature:

1. You can define approval rules using Task Manager or Task Manager User Name

2. You can configure these approval rules in the Procurement Approvals Task or using BPM

3. Remember that Projects are configured on a requisition at the distribution level. The system identifies the Task Manager as configured in the Fusion Projects setup based on the Project and Task Number details that are available at the Distribution level on a requisition
