Can we updated the bank account keeping supplier profile to read only mode

We want to create a custom role where it should allow changing ONLY banking details on a supplier and nothing else. Which means this role should have read-only access to everything else on a supplier but banking details.

Anybody has this kind of requirement where supplier maintenance is with Procurement team and updating banking details is with AP team. If yes, how has it been handled?
