Customer Portal Login not working on Dev and Staging but works on production

Hi everyone,

I have simple login page which is having a custom widget of login which has been extended through standard login widget.

When i am trying to log into the portal in development or staging mode, the session gets created and i get redirecting.... message but the redirection does not happen. I tried changing the widget versions also but it is still not working.

The reference implementation is also working fine.

Edit:

When the home page is opened and that home page is having login_required = "true" it redirects to utils/login_form page and it appends the extra string data after /app/utils/login_form/redirect/home?p_ptaid=f.....
