Loading benefits data using HCM to EPBCS OOB (direct) integration

Hi All,

Our customer is currently using workforce planning and employee data (Salary) is being loaded using OOB integration. However the benefits data is brought into the system by a custom file rather using OOB integration from HCM to EPM. The custom file is generated in HCM end, pulled out by the IT team and send over to the user.Then the user will upload the file to DM and run the data load rule to pull in benefits data from the file to WFP. 

The WFP implementation was done by another implementation partner and when we asked them why they didn't use OOB integration to load only the benefits data, their answer was like
