Users Unable to install and launch Agent Desktop

Hope you are all keeping safe.
Some of our users are experiencing a problem where they are not able to successfully install and launch the agent desktop. In trying to trouble shoot, we have tried to rule out:
1. Workstation-related issues: other users are able to successfully install and launch the AD in the same workstation that the affected users cannot. Therefore the machines/workstations are okay.
2. The Service Cloud application itself: there are other users who successfully installed and launched.
3. The Users' Domain profile: the affected users and those not affected are in the same domain profile with similar permissions.
