How can I support attachment via the Chat API



I'm using the REST chat API and looking into an option to support attachment but that is not supported via the REST API as of today.

Is there a way to support attachments from the customer to the agent?

I thought about using the chat session ID and try to upload an attachment using the SOAP API but that doesn't seems to be possible?

I also thought about using the incident but the incident is not available until the chat is disconnected.

I'm looking at this for SOAP
