Knowledge TIP | Enable Group Asset Feature & Group Asset Depreciation Rules

Following two steps are required to enable the Group Assets:

1) Enable the lookup for Group Assets
     Navigation:  Manage Fixed Assets Lookups > search for Lookup Type : ORA_FA_ALLOW_GR%

     For Financials Generic Lookup Type : ORA_FA_ALLOW_GROUP,  click Add (+) > add the Book for Lookup Code and Meaning > Save and Close


2) Enable the Group Asset at the Asset Book level
    Navigation:  Setup and Maintenance > Manage Asset Books > search book > Advanced > select Allow group depreciation and check other desired options for Group Assets
